Who we are

SuperVisaInsurance.ca is operated from North York, Ontario, Canada. We provide free tools and guidance to help families find super visa medical insurance. We are not an insurer — we connect you with licensed insurance brokers who provide the actual quotes and policies.

What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your province of residence
• Your parent's age, coverage preferences, and deductible selection
• Whether your parent has pre-existing medical conditions, and if so, which ones
• How long coverage is needed
• Whether you opted in to receive marketing updates

We also collect standard web analytics data through Google Analytics 4, including pages visited, time on site, and general geographic region. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

How we use your information

• To provide quotes: Your contact and coverage details are shared with licensed insurance brokers so they can prepare and send you quotes.
• To contact you about your inquiry: A broker or advisor will reach out by email or phone to follow up on your quote request.
• To send you updates (if you opted in): If you checked the optional marketing box on the quote form, we may send you emails about super visa rule changes, cost tips, and related insurance news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
• To improve the site: Aggregated analytics data helps us understand which tools and content are most useful.

Who we share your information with

We share your quote request details with licensed insurance brokers so they can prepare quotes for you. By submitting the form, you consent to this sharing. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We use the following third-party services to operate the site:

• Supabase — stores your quote request data securely
• Resend — sends email notifications about your inquiry
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregated site analytics
• Railway — hosts the website

Marketing emails and CASL

We only send marketing emails to people who explicitly opted in by checking the optional box on our quote form. This consent is recorded with a timestamp and the exact wording shown at time of consent.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time and we will stop sending marketing messages promptly. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional messages related to a quote you requested.

Data retention

Quote request data is retained for up to three years to allow brokers to follow up and for us to improve our service. If you would like your data deleted sooner, contact us at info@supervisainsurance.ca and we will remove it within 30 days.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you
• Request a copy of your data
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your data
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time

Cookies

We use localStorage (not traditional cookies) to remember your estimator inputs across pages, such as your parent's age, province, and coverage selection. This data stays in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers unless you submit the quote form.

Google Analytics 4 may set cookies to distinguish users and sessions for aggregated analytics reporting. You can opt out of GA4 tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
